M:ck (Michele Coletti) is a Italy-based graphic designer, devoted enthusiast of sound and music.
Since the early 90's he has been collaborating with Red Zone club in Perugia (1989-2015), widely regarded one the most authentic underground warehouse-style dance music venue in Italy.
Alongside of graphic design M:ck has always loved records and audio gears.
In 1995 he published www.mickmusicpage.net - currently condensed to the same address - a personal website about his musical mentors and the origins of a crucial instrument for recorded music presentation: the iconic american rotary DJ mixer. The informations contained was among the first and most detailed to be published on the web. The website become a reference for enthusiasts of the obscure technological aspects of modern DJ culture, renewing interest for rotary DJ mixers and becomes a reference for audio companies that will implement new products inspired by almost forgotten vintage audio gear.
From 2001 to 2019 he focused his work on real-time visuals projections for clubs and live events. As video wise he's focused on non-commercial video performances driven by exploration of interactions between visuals and musical program. Visuals were composed in realtime using various sources as short granular video fragments, generative graphics and analog video signals.
Since 2020 he's dealing exclusively on graphic design pursuing his adventure in sound.
